blackberry pearl 8100, myFaves, and sms woes :(

I just activated myFaves under tmobile usa today and ive noticed that now my sms is going horrendously slow. Also some of the texts I receive while others I do not (all from the same recipient). It really is frustrating to me because I was texting my girlfriend and apparently I dont get her reply but then 5 min later I get a reply with "baby are you there" Does anyone have a solution? I tried uninstalling apps i didnt use including blackberry messenger but have yet to try it and I also now repeatedly check and clear my log (alt l g l g)...does anyone else have this problem (i read similar problems but not quite the same)?

btw this never or very very rarely happened prior to activating myFaves.

Hey it could possibly be her service provider? Or do you and her have a family plan?

Also, try updating the software on your Pearl by going to www.t-mobile.com/bbupgrade and see if that doesn't remedy the situation.

i went to a tmo store this last weekend and the rep said to try a battery pull of which i did try on a few occasions but if that does not work he said just call 611 and tech support

i dont think its her service cuz it never happened prior to the addition of myFaves to my plan so idk...although for some strange reason it seems to be occurring less now but still does happen :(
