at the time i didnt have data plan added onto my sidekick so, i had to click on the link to tell that i didnt have a dataplan added ok, and when i got the reply it was rude lol but funny because it was rude, anyways the email i got automatically accused me of reading some article on the net on how to get a dev key without being a developer, and all i want a key for is 3rd party apps etc... but the person did appoligize for being rude. but days before this email i had added data and confirmed my addy etc and now am in the process of my development, but what was the rude part was automatically making the acusation of wanting the key for 3rd party apps, i did follow their instructions on the page saying if i dont have a dataplan to follow this link and enter an email explaining that i dont have a dataplan...so just a note to anyone else who doesnt have a dataplan and you are being serious about wanting to develop for the sidekick platform, read their forums very thouroghly and dont get mad when you get this type of email from them ok, i can see their point and all, about how ppl are just wanting a dev key for their own 3rd party apps and ringetones etc... the sidekick developer team shouldnt jump to comclusions though, after all their link was for ppl who dont have a dataplan and doesnt have a @tmail.com addy. You gotta understand alot of developers/programmers have a type of attitude to a point, they r a bit grouchy alot of the times... not all of them but a big chunk of them atleast that i have encountered in my days...I think it is because of their minds are always computing and thinking etc..., and when you get them off track they get irritated it seems... i may not be 100% accurate but i know im mostly correct...
