Hey I was just wondering if anyone knew of any promotional codes for tmobile. I am especially referring to the 9.99 Unlimited Text that Tmobile was offering before. Does anyone know of any of these promo codes. I just used the one called Windows Mobile to get a 1 year contract, Wing for 50 dollars, activation fee waived, and no data requirement eventhough I still needed it. The $9.99 Unlimited text is no longer available and can NOT be added. The only department that might be able to is Retentions.

yea once a plan is grandfathered its is almost impossible to be able to get it again. There might be a seperate SOC that retentions might be able to add for you, but thats of course on a case by case basis

Once the Shadow is out, I have a promo code for some free software from Handango for it, but I'm waiting until it comes out before I post the code. As for the $9.99 Unl Text, that's finished and Retentions might be the only way, if they can somehow pull that off for you.

Its not really if retentions can give it to you, but if the computer will let you.

If I know the system enough, your plan needs to be compatible with the SOC add on... meaning if the SOC code existed when your plan was around, then chances are, retentions can add it.

However, if you get a plan that came around AFTER the SOC code in question, it might not be compatible.

Case in point for me: I have the original 39.99 1000/min free n/w. I wanted to see if I could get BUDDYTIME added on (9.99 for unlimited SMS and M2M)... BUDDYTIME was around prior to my account and was not compatible. If I had an older plan that was around when BUDDYTIME was, I'd might have been able to massage a retentions rep to give it to me.

On the other hand, as a 2nd choice, I wanted the 9.99 unlimited SMS (no mms). Even though that SOC was no longer being offered, it IS compatible with my plan. I was able to call retentions and talk them into added it to my plan. (They couldnt argue with the fact I was upgrading from 2.99 300SMS to 9.99 unlimited SMS)...

Anyhow, I'm sure you want the SOC code for that to try out taking a retentions rep into giving it to you.

OK, so I've got what they are now calling the FamilyTime plan (1000 min, ul n/w, ul m2m) - I've had it since the first offered it as a promo plan, what was it, about 4 years ago? Along with it I've got the $9.99 ul fam msging and $2.99 ul tzones on my line.

I'm going to be talking to retentions sometime between now and Christmas regarding renewing - are there any family (or single line) super deal add-ons I should try for?

The deal I got was the Wing for 99.99 with a 50 dollar mail-in rebate! I called 1(866) 464-9662 and i gave the promo code , windows mobile. It comes with a one year, no activation fee, and no data requirement. Although I have had the Wing for a week and dont really like it. It works good as a phone reception, call clarity, but I dont get my calls half the time, it goes str8 to the voice mail even when the phone isnt pulling data, also the phone can never not be disconnected from the data connection even when I turn off the data. Only way is airplane mode but then I dont get calls. So I kinda wanna switch but I dont think ill get a curve or an LX for 50 dollars. Does anyone know how long you would have to wait before I could sell this wing and get some money and buy a LX with out being penalized with having to pay the difference for the phone!????

Not a feature, but there was a GTE plan that is now grandfathered that is unlimited minutes for like 45 or 50 bucks a month

To get to retentions, do you ask specifically for retentions? :confused:

hey, my brother just got a new curve for $50.00. he just went to T-mobile as a new customer and got it. i dont think he had any sort of hook up or anything. if you give me time i`ll be able to ask him if he did anything besides get a new contract. only think you would be able to do it add another line and get it for 50 and just not use it. thats the only thing i could think of but i dont work for t-mobile so there could be a better way.

Since I have a blackberry I know that this wouldnt be for me so I saw ur post. I think u might have to call to get more info on this. But since u live in MIA its close by, Its a promo that they have at the mall, Here is the flyer attached.

I've never been to town center, I like Aventura. I was by Bal Harbor to go to the Blue Martini Bar. I got to go to these Malls Im always going to Pembroke Lakes Mall. I gotta try something new.
