this is the first intro post so i can use the forum, but while i'm here..................
i'm a big tmo fan and like the dash.. been having problems with the alarm (seeing that i'm not alone on this), but have been unable to find the thread (in the faq) that explained how to go in and delete the phone alarms before installing a 3rd party app.

anyone got a suggestion or direction?

thanks.

Welcome to T-MobileSignal!

To Delete The Phone Alarm:

1. Go to Start
2. Go to Settings
3. Clock in alarm
4. Go to Alarm
5. You'll see alarms there and you should have the option to dismiss all of them.
6. Dismiss them.

Please make sure you are storing it to your memory card.

thanks, but perhaps i've worded my question poorly.

I know how to deactivate an alarm, but the dash has a peculiar quirk in that once an alarm (on the dash you can only set one alarm at a time) has been changed or altered, it is STILL activated. If I set an alarm for 545 monday, and change it to 615 for tuesday, tuesday morning will greet me with an alarm at 545 and 615. I've read in the forums that i need to unlock the phone (which i've done) but i don't know what the next step is to clear out all existing alarms and reminders before i install a 3rd party alarm clock app. I had seen the steps for such a procedure a few days ago on the forum, but now am unable to find it.

thanks again.
