So I was bored and I decided to call up T-Mobile Customer Care and find out the most common questions they receive on any given day.

1. Why is my bill so high?
2. I never go over my minutes, can you credit me?
3. Where is my new phone? It was supposed to be here yesterday!

Hahahaha

This is funny, I could hijack the entire website by asking the "most common" questions I get.

Most entertaining: I love when I get asked how come the bill is so high PRIOR to giving me a number or a copy of their bill? Apparently sales reps have ESP.

Asking me why a call was dropped Tuesday of the week prior. To that I respond, hold on my time machine is in back give me a minute to find.

Oh...i'll post this and so much more later.

I love people that tell me that there bill is high and they never go over there minutes!!!!

The T-mobile fairy must have picked your bill and jacked up the prices.

I love it when I'm at the store looking around and a customer walks in saying that their phone doesn't work. After the Rep. looks at it and informs the customer that the phone won't work anymore since it had gotten wet. The customer will then continue to argue that their phone was never exposed to water, even though the battery indicator is clearly red as apposed to white.

People should know the purpose of having #646# at their disposal. It would make their lives a lot more simple LOL.

This is very true. I hate when customers say they have no way of knowing how many minutes they have. You have T-zones, MyTmobile, #646#, and Customer Care.
Pretty easy...and completely free.

I used to work for an authorized dealer and I would ABSOLUTELY HATE it when they'd accuse me for being idiots and going over their minutes...

Oh my darling diva, you have NO Idea how often this takes place. You have no idea of the LACK of understanding from the general consumer as to the specifics of a warranty, insurance etc. There is an expectation that everything can be fixed, for free and that I should put my jacket over a puddle for them since they have been a customer for xx number of years.

I say this with all due respect to my customers but my attitude toward you is directly proportionate to your attitude toward me. If you're nice and friendly, i'll be the best sales associate ever. Your voice starts raising and I get dumb, very dumb.

The worst is when they finally admit that they dropped it in the toilet. And its still in your hands.

just say 2 words:
english (or espanol)
minutes
and you know how many minutes left, and your billing cycle
too easy, right? (that's our Drill Sergeant slang)

Sigh. I wish we had that option (I live in Canada, where T-Mobile doesn't exist except in call centers (such as the one I work in)). To find out your postpaid minutes left, you HAVE to call into Customer Care. You can use *225 to find out your prepaid balance, but nothing available for postpaid. Sigh..... I hope T-Mobile will show up in Canada soon. Although I'm locked in Rogers for 3 years - yup, 36 month contracts are the norm up here, so no griping about your tiny 24 month contracts ;) Maybe by the time T-Mobile enters Canada and rolls out to my part of the country, I can tell Rogers to kiss my butt without having to pay the $400 ECF.

OMG! 3-Year Contracts?!?! $400 ETF!!!

Well, there have been rumors that Verizon was eyeing 3-Year Contracts a little while ago... so maybe it's not that far off for the U.S. in the future too! :(

I'm glad we don't have those here. I can barely get myself through a 1 year contract with Verizon. Three years would kill me for sure.

Yup. Minimum $100, maximum $400. All depends on length of time left in the contract. $20 per month left in the contract, so once you hit 20 months left, each month drops by $20 until you hit the 5 month mark and then you're at that spot until your contract is completed. That's nothing compared to Telus though. Apparently it's $20 per month with NO upper limit. Cancel right after the 30 day return period and boom, $700 ECF.....
