Thats a great story. Too bad I told my friend to soak his phone in alcohol when our soccer game (and field, and bags) got flash-flooded the other day...but his phone actually smoked and died so that didn't work.
I favorited the article though.
I wonder if cat litter would work too?

this is the very reason i do not ever grab a phone from a customer when they tell me their phone is broken. i always ask what happened first. they will stick out their phone for me to look at and say " it fell in the toilet, can you fix it" ummmm NO.

If I were going to try cat litter, I'd try the kind that's made from silica. It looks like little crystals and lasts up to a month for one cat (providing you scoop the poop out, lol!) Now THAT stuff absorbs liquid!!!!
