While some might clap at French law... I'll stick by my guns: Apple has a global strategy... and in the US, the fruit will split ma' bell...right...down....the...middle.

I wonder how this will affect the rest of the market. Will people be able to use the French firmware (modified, perhaps) to perma-unlock US phones?
