I don't have a particular computer model but I have several on my home network. For the most part, they are built by me or at least hacked by me to suit my purpose.

Main workhorse: Mid tower with Athlon 64 3800+ dual core and BFG 7950 nvidia. Running openSuSE 10.3 64 bit with 32 bit compatibility libraries. Also set to dual boot to Win2K 32 bit if ever needed.
Secondary: Shuttle cube barebones running XP. KVM switch between these two aforementioned computers.

File Server: SnapServer 4100 running an updated version of BSD based SnapOS.

Firewall/Router: Cobalt Raq 4i with a custom version of IPCop patched to run on Cobalt hardware and compiled by me. Is 3G capable as well. Am currently powering my network with AT&T HSDPA through this. Fine tuning driver ability allows me to get the full 1.8mbs from a 1.8mbs tower.

Entertainment: MythTV box consisting of an Athlon 64 3000+ in a home theater style case running two HDTV capture cards and one analog capture card plus RF remote control and VFD display on the front panel. Running a BFG Nvidia 6200 which is the minimum recommended for full 1080i HDTV content. Running MythDora 4 as the Linux distribution for this. I can't believe all the functions you can do with a single MythTV box!
