Interesting... Hoping T-Mo is more than Aggresive

The real fight is between AT&T mobilityhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/1.gif (http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=10029063#) and the Network (http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=10029063#)

Hmmm...like I said, I think T-mobile should bid, but I doubt they will.
Great post though, very interesting article.

I wonder when we will see who will bid on this spectrum. I also wonder if T-Mobile is being silent on this, while installing equipment that is both 700/1700 capable out of the box. They could be doing what they did before T-Mobile made an announcement about NYC having 50% of the equipment in place for 3G. That would be smart for them to have equipment up and ready for the new 700MHz spectrum.

I was just thinking exactly that...
I think that would be an ingenious move on T-mobile and DT's part. However, when they started putting up 1700/2100 equipment, did they even know a 700 MHz auction was even going to take place?

But I hate the confusing part about the AWS spectrum. They say the 1700MHz band is paired with the 2100MHz band. But could a device use the 2100MHz part of the spectrum for something else like 3G? Ex) if you buy a 3G 2100MHz device will it work on T-Mobile 3G since that AWS has 2100MHz in it?

T-Mobile will never get it
this will be a bloody war, T-Mobile needs to spend 20billion to get it, no joke
if at&t or VZW wins, it'll available at 2009
if T-Mobile wins, it'll NEVER available

oh boy... long article...

As for T-mobile bidding on the 700 Mhz, it's still possible that they will try to bid on it and get with help with Google.

There is a possibility that Google may join T-mobile to get it.

It wouldn't work because they Dont have the same uplink and downlink bands. it'd have to be 1700/2100
