I rotate W300, K790, Z710 for different occastion
but I found W300 is better as EDGE modem (fast), but Z710 has better display, and K790 has a lot better screen and cam
too hard to choose, then I rotate them
it's your turn

Haha aww why do you have that phone!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Nokia 6030. It's a champ as a voice phone for making calls. If that's what you have a phone for it does a superb job. It's compact and has lots of standard features such as speakerphone, calendar, alarm, stop watch, countdown timer, calculator and a built in WAP browser. It's not a fancy phone and is not marketed as such but it does what it's supposed to do and does it well. It also has great battery life.

Nokia 8801 since January for my main phone though I still use my Nokia 6310i which actually I prefer for some things. The 6310i has the best battery life of any phone that I've ever used. It has great sound quality and I can use it in the bright sunlight. I can also hear it ring under almost any conditions. I can't say the same for my 8801. I still use the 6310i in my CellSocket when I put the 8801 to bed at night.

It just occurred to me that we don't have a real T-mobile phone other than a retired 3595. Gave away 1 each Voicestream 5190 and 6190. Kid uses N3620. Spouse uses N6061 and sometimes N6340i. For me it is whatever I feel like between N6590i, N6200, N3220, N6030 (Cingular-issued of course) or my favorite, the S/E W810i. All prepaid. Never a contract with T-mobile.

Same thing here. I have been using a 6030 as my main phone lately. As a cell geek, I can watch the signal meter without having to turn on the backlight while I travel to new areas. Since school is out and I spend much of my time outside, I don't want to take a chance on ruining an expensive phone.

In the past few months, I have been through a t629, a Pearl, a v195s, a PEBL, and a RIZR. I've made money on selling the phones, so I don't feel bad about going through so many.

I'm saving up now for an unlocked SE W810i. It looks to be the phone I'm craving.

I use a W300 on days when I feel like listening to music or am going on a trip somewhere. When I'm at work waiting tables or making pizzas I use a Nokia 2610. Oh and when I feel like using something a bit nicer i use a K750 for taking pictures and carrying more music on my 2 gig card.

I dunno, I have tried a lot of phones in the past few months but don't see anything worth the money right now. I sort of want a w490 just because of the green color and the capability to play full screen video better than my w300 or k750. I'd probably buy a purple one for my girlfriend too if I got one.

Hmm, does anyone here have a SE K750i? I was wondering if it would be a good buy for 95 bucks. It seems to be pretty good all around, with the camera and mp3 functionality sticking out in particular. Any comments would be appreciated.

Just a brief summary of my sony ericsson journey, it went: K700, K750, W800, W810, K790, K850. The K750 is a really good deal, the only drawback to it if you live in the US is that there is not 850 band, but not everyone in the states need it. If you dont need 850 I say go ahead and get it, if you need it, the least expensive SE would be the w810, and it has all the features of the k750.

I switched from Sprint to T-Mo a couple of months ago due to Sprint screwing up my bill every month. I actually left T-Mo a couple of years ago for Sprint, now I am back. When I had them before I had allot of phones, but mainly used the BB 8700g, BB Pearl, Tmo Dash and Tmo MDA. When we sighned back on I got the Shadow, nice phone but HORRIBLE battery life so it went back for the Pearl. I now have an Unlocked 16GB iPhone that I love! I love it so much I am going to sell my Pearl.

I don't use any phone now. Because of the Sidekick Slide problem, that happened months ago. And problems with T-Mobile Customer Care making me not to have a phone with T-Mobile anymore. And I lost interest in the Sidekick. But, the last 2 phones I had was the Sidekick Slide, and the Sidekick LX. And I use my malfunctioning Motorola RIZR Z3 every once, and now, and then. Any i'm waiting to get the Motorola ROKR E8, and the T-Mobile Shadow 2 (That'll hopefully be 3G enabled, and not to business looking like).

What happened with your slide and customer care?

What happened with your slide and customer care?
You don't remember when they had the call back of the Sidekick Slides cause of battery issues. It was all over the internet. They made the Sidekick Slides battery too small, and when you slid the screen down I cause the battery would fall out of place, and the device would shutdown. So, I had to return it and they gave me a free Sidekick LX, in exchange; but, I didn't like it, it has call quality issues, low speakerphone, and that particular ones trackball broke the same day. So, I had to take that one, back, and they gave me another one, and I still didn't like it. It has muffled call quality, low speakerphone, and it just felt cheap. So, I took that one, back, and said forget that Sidekick. And I returned it back. And the T-Mobile Representative wanted to act nasty, and didn't wanna give me a refund saying that it was past the original 14 days, and I was saying well thats not my fault, because I had to keep switching phone cause of defects, and I switch to a whole different brand Sidekick, and thats your company's fault, and they got real nasty. Said they would send me a rebate of my $350, we waited for a month, we called in, and come to find out, they didn't even have it sent to us. And we we're told by customer care they we're supposed to give us the refund from the store, and saying it didn't matter if we purchased it with a check, they we're still supposed to refund us from the store. And it took like 2 1/2- 3 months to get the refund check, and after that I just said forget T-Mobile, and didn't purchase any phones from them

WOW, what a hassle! :(
I know. I had a Helio Ocean shortly after that. But, I returned it cause of bad coverage in my area, it dropped like 10 calls a day. And then, again it wasn't really up to my standards. The Youtube Video Quality was horrific, and it wouldn't even let me go to the regular Myspace page like I used to do on my Sidekick. It keep taking me to their mobile application of Myspace, and I was like Uggh. So, i'm phoneless until the Motorola ROKR E8 releases.

Right now I have a Samsung T429. I bought it off of Craigslist for $35 to replace my T609 that quite literally fell apart...one thing after another..started with the paint wearing off the keys beginning after only a month! next the camera started having problems...oh I think I started having sketchy sound quality first...then it was the memory card transfer..I could transfer video..but not pictures *scratches head* before long I couldn't even take pictures, then the hinge quit working..would flip back closed as soon as I flipped it open (it is now in 2 pieces). I had to go back to my E315 for a month or so (imagine what that was like :^p) but it had no paint on the keys and crappy sound quality as well ..oh and the quality of ringtones back then...ughhh I forgot how bad it really was..lol. The T429 is actually a really good little phone. The picture quality sux green eggs and ham and there is no micro-sd slot...so I don't plan to keep it forever..but it has been a MUCH better phone than my T609 ever was. It looks like Samsung fixed the whole paint wearing off the keys issue *knocks on wood*

Of course..no keys to wear off would be even better! I'm checking back every day for new info on the T929!!!

I have a T-Mobile contract and a pre-pay account. I also have an AT&T go phone account.

Nokia 6301b UMA 850/1800/1900 MHz GSM
Nokia 5610d-2b XpressMusic
Nokia 6290
Nokia N78-3 850/1900 WCDMA (AT&T 3G)
Nokia 6133
Nokia 6103b
Nokia 3390
Sony Ericsson K750i Triband 900/1800/1900
Motorola V635
depending upon my mood and the task at hand each of these, except as detailed below, see weekly use.

The SE K750i doesn't get to play on the AT&T account.
The 6103b I don't use, was my first new-in-the box phone, which I retired after six weeks use for the 6133.
The 3390, my very first phone, I use quarterly just to keep it charged up. This is my "ice storm emergency" phone. Battery lasts forever on this one.
All of these are unlocked either as they came from the factory, by me playing with them or from a keypad code.

Matt,
One of my sons has gone through three D900 units in the last 18 months. One started to act goofy, as in turning off without any visible provocation and not receiving MMS, one the microSD port stopped functioning, and the third heats up and turns off every once in a while for no known reason. He's now using a D900i and has no issues with it. Have you experience with these sorts of issues with your D900? He is an adult and takes excellent care of his equipment.
