In a previous thread (http://www.t-mobilesignal.com/forum/f8/question-any-knowledable-customer-care-reps-870.html), I was having a lot of difficulties getting taxed for the right location. I have a 314 St. Louis number, but my billing, tax, and PPU addresses are all based in Portland, OR.
I've been trying to get taxed in Portland for the last 2 months. Well, I called CC again today, and after 20 minutes of checking this and checking that, she told me this:
She said that taxes are based on your PPU market, BUT if your PPU market and submarket (I'm guessing the market your number is based from), THEN you will be taxed for your submarket (area code), and NOT your PPU market.
Is this true? She told me that it took her forever to dig this up and that it's confusing, because this information is on two separate sections.
I'm not calling her a liar per se, but I have been told so much conflicting information that I don't know what to believe!
