Anybody seen this?

HIWIRE HAS COVERED LAS VEGAS with two towers for its mobile TV trial with T-Mobile USA. One tower is atop the Rio and the other is on Black Mountain.

The full article is on endgadgetmobile.com.I wonder though, will t-mo have to wait til launch of 3g before launching this?I would think so,but does this mean we're closer to govt. letting go of the spectrum?

I don't think this is indicative of 3G rollout. They are just trying it out.

Hi Wire has their own spectrum that they use to broadcast TV. (I think 700mhz) Its not part of the AWS spectrum that t-mo will use for #G.

Mobi-TV is dead. They died a few months ago when no carrier would use them, so they sold their spectrum.

I guess since AT&T just bought Aloha,Hi-Wire will probably never see the light of day through T-Mobile
