I an anxious to see what T-Mobile USA has up their sleeves regarding 3G phones. Plus, the companies are playing themselves by not even having the FCC show off any new 3G phones. I am not including Motorola's Q9h.

What is with the Motorola Q9h??
I hope T-mobile makes a move with 3G soon too. I try to not complain about this stuff, but they have been so far behind with this. They spent 4.3 billion dollars...so hopefully they will do something to make it worth it

Keep in mind its not really T-mobile slacking right now. The government currently occupies the spectrum T-mobile purchased and while I know for A FACT that the towers ARE ready to go they can't do anything until the government vacates the spectrum they purchased. Thats expected to happen late late this year. Key word is expected of course and with this government, who the hell knows!!

Well I'm not quite sure thats going to get things done sooner but I'll send an e-mail to Robert Dotson asking him that the members of T-mobilesignal.com ask, nay DEMAND 3g services set forth immediately. :p:p:p

Sounds good. We could get a 5 man protest outside of T-mo headquarters with signs asking for 3G :p

a rep told me that a nokia model (6280?) will be the first 3G (not HSDPA) phone
I wish Z750 or W750 are out, or any model with HSDPA 3.6
when I look at the AWS page on phonescoop, I realize AWS is just a re-programming of 2G and 3G band
downlink is same as EA UMTS
uplink is same as DCS (GSM 1800)
hope the handset will be available later this year, then I'll jump ship to T3 (guess what it is? hint: same plan and price)
