Like many around here, I'm interested in getting the Curve. But, I have some questions about the Blackberry Plans.

I currently have the Dash, and have the Total Internet Add-On for $19.99 (Unlimited Hotspots & Unlimed Internet on the phone). In order to use the web browser on the Curve, do I have to switch to one of the Blackberry Plans (which do not include unlimited Hotspots)? Also, if I want to install BES Express on my home Exchange server and sync the Curve to that, do I have to use the $29.99 Blackberry Plan with BES?

I really want to get the Curve, but if I have to switch to the $29.99 plan (after T-Mobile lowered the price on the Total Internet Add-On by $10), which also doesn't seem to have unlimited Hotspots, well, bummer...

If you did switch to the Curve, you would have to switch to one of the Blackberry Plans because Blackberries do some basic data encryption in the actual package. Also, you would have to use the Blackberry Plan with BES in order to sync your curve to your home Exchange Server. However, you would have access to the Hotspots if you are on the Curve...you just won't have access with your computer to the Hotspot.

Thank you for the information!

I actually did end up getting the Curve about a month and a half after I originally posted this question. It's an awesome phone (made even sweeter by UMA and Hotspot@Home), and I have no regrets. :)
