View Full Version : Why Not Have More Advertisements?

Well, we don't need more of them.
I think you should have it so people that go to the site can advertise on it, other than Google. Maybe you could charge people a price to have a banner up there, like where the Google's ads are. So it could be Google and then whatever someone else wants. For example, if someone saw this site and sold T-Mobile cell phone parts they could click on something that says "Advertise Here" and they could advertise their site. You could charge them for it too.
It does not really matter, I just think it would be a good idea. I think the Google ads are great. I think they make the site look good.:D
( I didn't know what to call the thread)

This is a great suggestion...I think if the Admin isn't already working on it, it will definitely be added to the list

I second that. That would be pretty cool.
Actually, I have thought of this and it's a great idea. I just wasn't sure if people would be willing to advertise on my site yet since I don't have tons of users like Howard Forums.

You have a good amount if users though.
You could have a small link toward the bottom right/left of the page that says "Your Ad Here"
I'm sure people will notice it. If you have reasonable rates people will want to advertise here. :)
Possibly. I'm going to give Adsense a month or so. 800 users is still pretty small compared to the big forums out there. However, I'm quickly catching up to forums focused on a single carrier. I just hope the forum continues to grow and doesn't plateau.
Well... considering the number of posts in the employee forum over at Howard these day, I'm guessing you've secured a majority of their active users.
I rarely venture that way.... especially after some corproate drone launched an attack on "mindless" RSRs over pay.... and the threads were quickly locked down. Considering their user base, I think that is pretty stupid. Let'em vent.
Oh well, HereToday, GoneTomorrow. :D
Woohoo! That's what I like to hear!

don't click the ads then the ads pay for the hosting fees the blackberry forums have so many users now that the server lags. Were talking "their server is busy come back later" for at least 3 months thats how much traffic it gets, there are thousands of active users
