Some Sub-Forums Would Be Nice (is "General Discussion" too crowded now?)

Hey Admin, maybe it's time to create some sub-forums inside General Discussion or something... it seems to be getting a little too crowded (and messy). Here are some suggestions for sub-forums:

- BlackBerry (handsets, plans, add-ons, etc)
- Smartphones/PDA's (handsets, plans, add-ons, etc)
- SideKick (handsets, plans, add-ons, etc)

There seems to be A LOT of increased threads/posts about these lately (and I anticipate it will keep increasing exponentially as data/messaging add-ons and handsets become more affordable and more people demand "smart" handsets... especially with the first 2).

Do you think a sub-forum for upcoming phones would help out the General forum? That is what I think would be best at this point, but chookay's idea will definitely help out too, I'm not opposed to it at all. I just want to keep a fair bit of simplicity so people can find stuff in as few clicks as possible.

Let me think about this Chokaay. I really would like to keep the forum simple but I do feel it is getting quite crowded as well. However, keep in mind that most of the stickies will be moved to the Wiki.

I guess we'll have to see how that Wiki develops first, it should organize everything very nicely.

3G discussion sub-forum should be nice, but DON'T open till any 3G device is out and/or AWS 3G service is found
and I see some employees here as well, add employee sub-forum to vent about the job (limited access)
T-Mobile coverage sub-forum should be put in Support forum

I have to agree with Chokaay.The Forum needs better organization.Maybe a seperate Sub-Forum for Phones and one for Blackberries & other Smartphones?Also maybe a Sub-Forum for the coming SunCom merger like Greenblood suggested on HoFo.The current SunCom users/new T-Mobile subscribers would find that useful.:D BTW,WTF is Post #10 about?
