since T-Mobile will drop Total Internet to $20, it's pretty good time to renew my contract by
1. change my BNP 600 to FamilyTime 1k promo, since I am not big talker, no N/W is OK, but I still want m2m
2. get T639 with discounted price
3. add Total Internet and Any400 with my plan (Any400 and Total Internet will move to secondary number)
T-Mobile will gain $15 more from my pocket, and keep me for 3 more years (will explain later), and I'll get a dedicated number for internet
sounds good, right?
but sorry, I won't get T639 till end of next week, because it'll be done on 12 Sept

we will go to Afghanistan, that I have to suspend my contract for 1 year
that's why it'll be 3 years

ah, that would make sense, is it military? Because if it is, T-Mobile will let you out of your contract if you show proof.

free suspension would let him keep his grandfathered stuff, like that promo, and anything they change in that year. (greenblood isn't going anywhere, he loves T-Mobile)
18 months free suspension for military reasons FTW! [It has helped me big time holding onto my plan]

I'd suspend my account instead, because I don't want to lose my 4 years old number
yes, it's military deployment

Thats excellent that Tmobile will let you do that in the Military!! What a nice alternative to cancelling your contract all together.

I'm pretty sure that all the wireless carriers will do this as well for $10/month.

greenblood, will TMobile suspend your service for free till you come back, or is there a service fee associated for doing this?

yes
but the first month of suspension, the last month bill will be prorated, if you make a call when roaming, the roaming bill will appear later
all I want to say T-Mobile is pretty nice towards deploying soliders

Normally, for a suspension, it can only be 3 months at a time.
Example.
Jan-Suspended@$10
Feb-Suspended@$10
Mar-Suspended@$10
April-Pay the month
May-Suspended@$10 ....so on
So, with military, do they make you do it 3 months at a time, or all the time necessary? And is it still $10 a month, or only the first month?

you can suspend your account up to 12 months with no extra charge, but the contract will be pushed back too

It sounds to me like T-Mobile is one of the best carriers when it comes to showing support to people that are in the military.
