Hey guys, my name is Ayman, been with T-mobile for 3 years now and i was told about this forum from a current member Nwahs (super nice guy) which i talked to on a different forum that i came across when i was researching info on my new t809. My last phone was a razr v3i iTunes and i had a lot of modding done to that phone. it went through all kinds of flexing/flashing and a little bit of hex editting here and there haha, but after almost 2 years that phone finally gave up on me. the keypad stopped working and i really just got sick of that phone and decided it was time for a new one rather than fixing it. the phone was good in many ways, but it lagged when i used the aim application and lagged when i was texting as well, i guess it couldn't keep up with my thumbs LOL. Anyways, i had a friend who works at a t-mobile stores and found me a great deal on the samsung t809, so i bought that phone off of him and right away i was impressed. This was my first time using a samsung and just the menu styles and image quality of the phone blew away the motorola i use to own. The thing about motorola is it seems like they NEVER update their software, just seems to be the same old phones over and over again with just a new face design. Same old boring menus and all that. Anyways after some google'ing some info about the t809 i came across nwahs guide on flashing the t809 > d820 and went ahead and did that. I'm very hapy with the phone thus far but only disappointed due to the fact that i lost my aim application but i can live with that for now keeping in mind i gained a lot more than i lost.
