I can't wait til T-Mobile picks this up...i just hope its not in that color in the live shots, hope we get a different variant
Yea that color is quite ugly. I'll take a black one please!
I can't get excited for anything SureType. :D

I only can IF its a Pearl, i can't stand those Samsung SureType phones. But black, or a Curve-ish silver would be sweet, but not F-ugly gold...

I'll take one in a nice blue color. Like the one in this link: http://www.slashphone.com/media/data/796/tmobile-pearl-colors.jpg

I concur. But I did see a picture of the BB Pearl2 in a light blue color when I was searching on google this afternoon. But I think the article said that it was going to be released to Sprint.

Their version wouldn't work for me anyway. With no Sprint signal where I live, it would only end up being a cute little paper weight.

Well, they're just getting it first. I believe their version will have GPS rather than WiFi if I'm not mistaken, will have to double check.
@MobilePrincess - BGR posted a picture of a light blue Pearl when he leaked the info on the Pearl 2 (Komet), not sure if it was just a render or an actual pic though. RIM is releasing this in multiple colors as its their flagship consumer oriented device.

You are correct about the CDMA version being GPS capable, rather than Wi-Fi.
I read on Gizmodo that the Pearl2 should be released to AT&T exclusively in the first or second week of September. : Cellphones - Gizmodo (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/cellphones/-285958.php)
Boygenius reported here: Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 2 to launch Thanksgiving Day weekend? | The Boy Genius Report (http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2007/08/24/sprint-blackberry-pearl-2-to-launch-thanksgiving-day-weekend/), that Sprint would get it around Thanksgiving Day weekend.
Forums.crackberry reported that Verizon's BB Pearl2 would be released in November. BlackBerry Pearl 2 coming to Verizon - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com (http://forums.crackberry.com/f59/blackberry-pearl-2-coming-verizon-3734/)
T-Mobiles Version of the Pearl2 is going to be the best given the fact that it will be Dual-Mode Wi-Fi capable for their "Hot Spot @ Home" service. If all the reports are true, TMobiles BB Pearl2 should be released sometime after the release of at&t's.

No, thank you, and ditto on gettin the pearl2!!
I thought the Pearl 2 had a 3MP camera?

Should be 3.2MP according to BGR. Not sure if the CDMA version is going to rock a different one, shouldn't though. Better start digging! :Missy:

I'll save ya some time. :p

According to macnn the new Pearl2 (GSM version) will come with a 3.2MP camera. MacNN | RIM planning 3.2-megapixel, media-savvy Pearl 2 (http://www.macnn.com/articles/07/06/18/blackberry.pearl.2.komet/)
While crackberry.com lists the CDMA specs of the Pearl2 as having a 2MP camera. BlackBerry Pearl 2 coming to Verizon - BlackBerry Forums at CrackBerry.com (http://forums.crackberry.com/f59/blackberry-pearl-2-coming-verizon-3734/)
I find it to be a little odd that RIM wouldn't put the same camera on both versions. Guess we'll just have to wait and see once both versions hit the stores.
