Today Pandora and Facebook launched their new software for Android OS. Facebook has finally released a version of its highly popular social networking site for the Android operating system despite having rolled out a trio of versions for the iPhone to date.

The Android version will not be a port but will be built from scratch, boasting a widget and a Facebook Phonebook that holds all your of friends’ numbers. Facebook for Android is available for free in the Android Market.

Facebook for Android™ makes it easy to stay connected and share information with friends. You can share status updates from your home screen, check out your news feed, look at your friends’ walls and user info. Share photos from your phone and can even look up up to 125 friends’ phone numbers from the home screen.

Pandora Radio is your own FREE personalized radio now available to stream music on your Android phone. Just start with the name of one of your favorite artists, songs or classical composers and Pandora will create a “station” that plays their music and more music like it.

    There is no doubt that facebook has become the biggest social network that has been used by almost every person. I think that it the best way to get all the types of updates.
