Deutsche Telekom interested in South America?

Today, after talking with some friends at the German Embassy in Peru, I got some news (not confirmed) about Deutsche Telekom will be interested in investing in South America, and Peru will be the first country to get the pink company. Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile) has been investing in the last few years in many telecommunications companies around the world. This is the first time that Deutsche Telekom will begin business in Latin America. And why Peru? Peru’s economy has being growing in the last 10 years in 8% per year average. Peru, starting 3 years ago, has received new firms as investments. Companies from Europe, Asia and North America. Now Deutsche Telekom will start its expansion in South America and Peru will be the lucky one. This is just rumors floating around Peru and German government , nothing official yet.
