Dell’s Android handset is getting ready to show up on  AT&T. Today the FCC’s website has revealed the Mini 3i-a ( “a” stands for American Version )that  includes both 850 and 1900 MHz bands of UMTS as well as Wi-Fi on board. The Mini 3ia features a 3.5″ 360×640 touchscreen display, 3 megapixel camera, A-GPS and support for Microsoft Exchange. More news soon.

HTC has just announce the avalibality of the new Windows Mobile phone, the HD2. Europe and Asia will be the lucky ones here. They will start getting the HD2 in the few weeks.  What about USA?, HTC has confirmed the HTC HD will be available in Q1 2010 on a mayor carrier.. AT&T? or T-Mobile?..As you remember, there are rumors about the HTC DH2 hitting the magenta carrier.

Today, SonyEricsson has announced its new Android phone, The new Xperia X10.  Powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and running on Android 1.6 “Cupcake”, the X10 boasts a 4″ WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, an 8.1 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS. But, here is the good news. There are 2 versions of the Xperia X10, one with   UMTS HSPA 900/1700/2100 and UMTS HSPA 800/850/1900/2100. The first one is compatible with T-Mobile 3G bands, while the second with AT&T and other countries in Latin America.

The Xperia X10 will be available in some markets starting on Q1 2010 in Black and White.

A while ago, Google announced the new Android 1.6 , now, the new Version 2.0 is officially announced. The new Android 2.0 “Eclair” contains two very important sections: SDK support and a comprehensive list of changes in the latest version. Here are the major changes us lay folk are going to care about:

If you think T-Mobile will launch one day a Palm phone, specially the Palm Pre.. forget about it..  But here is how you can use the Pre without switching to Sprint.  Palm is going to release soon the new Unlock GSM version of its new phone, The Palm Pre.

The bad news starts with the keyboard. This version of the Pre has the QWERTZ keyboard layout that is preferred in Germany. However, the only difference is that the Z and Y keys are swapped. Another bad news, the lack of 3G ( for T-Mobile), but not for AT&T (according with the manual), if you get the American Version.

And the selling price is high: $715. Still, buying it does not require signing a voice or data contract.

The device does not have any carrier branding on it.

RIM is preparing for the big announcement, the new Blackberry Bold series, 9700. The Blackberry Bold 9700 is going to be the first 3G Blackberry for T-Mobile USA ( HSDPA bands 2100/1700 and 850). The Blackberry Bold 9700 features a 480 x 360 display, best QWERTY keyboard in the world, an optical trackpad, 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash and zoom, 1500mAh battery, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, and BlackBerry OS 5.0. Pricing remains unknown, but the website says that the smartphone will become available on Nov 11th.

Motorola has just launched, only for T-Mobile costumers, the new Motorola Cliq or Dext for other markets. The second is the Sholes, exclusively offered by Verizon Wireless. But, we now that Motorola is planing to launch even more phones. The third  new Motorola phone (maybe Android)  is called Devour, recently passed by WiFi alliance.
