Dell’s Android handset is getting ready to show up on  AT&T. Today the FCC’s website has revealed the Mini 3i-a ( “a” stands for American Version )that  includes both 850 and 1900 MHz bands of UMTS as well as Wi-Fi on board. The Mini 3ia features a 3.5″ 360×640 touchscreen display, 3 megapixel camera, A-GPS and support for Microsoft Exchange. More news soon.

The first week of November has been busy for phone manufacturers and carriers as they gear up, quite literally, for Nov. 27, the official first day of the holiday shopping season. And T-Mobile, after losing a quite significant number of subscribers on the Q3, is preparing to offer great deals and new smart phones.  T-Mobile will push more the selling of the first Android phone by Motorola, the Cliq. The Samsung Behold 2, will not stay behind. It is going to launch on Nov 12th.

T-Mobile USA reported a net loss of 77,000 subscribers in the third quarter, all indications that the nation’s No. 4 carrier is losing share to market heavyweights Verizon Wireless and AT&T, which both posted notable subscriber gains during the period. We just home that we the recently launch of the Motorola Cliq and the upcoming Blackberry Bold 9700 and Behold 2, T- Mobile will do better in the Q4.

Blackberry 9700 for T-Mobile

Our friends form Engadget Mobile, got the new Blackberry Bold 9700 hitting to T-Mobile this friday the 16th.  It will be the first 3G-powered BlackBerry smartphone available through T-Mobile USA, and also the first smartphone from Research In Motion that includes built-in support for both 3G connectivity and voice calls over Wi-Fi.

According with Android and Me’s report T-Mobile has already rolled out its new faster internet speed up to 7.2 mbps. Some people have reported in Chicago a huge speed  increased on their G1 and my touch 3G phones, up to 5.4 Mbps. If you guys live in Chicago o NY, give us some information about this..

HTC has just announce the avalibality of the new Windows Mobile phone, the HD2. Europe and Asia will be the lucky ones here. They will start getting the HD2 in the few weeks.  What about USA?, HTC has confirmed the HTC HD will be available in Q1 2010 on a mayor carrier.. AT&T? or T-Mobile?..As you remember, there are rumors about the HTC DH2 hitting the magenta carrier.

T-Mobile voice and data completely DOWN! (UPDATED)

Stating aroung 4pm pacific time, T-Mobile service stating to go down in many places. My phone did not get any messages, phone calls or even emails. Also people in SF are reporting problems with the phones and T-Mobile @ home phones too. If you have both of them at home, you are screw!. sorry Jim.

Here is the Official statement from T-Mobile.

“T-Mobile customers may be experiencing service disruptions impacting voice and data. Our rapid response teams have been mobilized to restore service as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as more information is available.”

Update :

All services are now restored T-Mobile says only 5 percent of users were affected by the outage, though evidence  suggest that the number is higher. My service got back round 10 pm pacific time yesterday.
