I have an old verizon phone I want to move onto their network on my in-laws friends and family plan, they want me to sign a new 2 year contract with a new phone the phone selection was poor, and they only offered a $50 discount for the contract phone. The phone costs about $20 -30 at other outlets but in the verizon store its $70-rebate = $20. Cant I just sign up buy the phone and go month to month? The coverage is truly national and network quality is the best. So, why are we signing those contracts again? The following seems to be true for all the carriers…
