T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II , the first Phone with Isis payment option

Today , another options to pay using your mobile phone has just arrived. After using NFC, and Google Wallet, Isis, is now the third option available and T-Mobile Galaxy S II, is the first phone to have it!. T-Mobile has just started over the air, the new update, T989UVLH1, improving some bug fixes and Isis Option.

From T-Mobile Support:

Beginning August 16, the Samsung Galaxy S II (ICS only) will have a software update to Android version 4.0.3 / Software T989UVLH1 via Samsung Kies only. This update improves device performance.


You can update in one way:

Manual download to T989UVLH1: If you want to update to T989UVLH1, you can update via Samsung Kies. Ensure you are on the latest version of Kies prior to attempting the update. See http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/ to confirm the version.

  • The update is still being sent to customers via OTA. You must wait to receive the OTA. See above for steps to manually pull the update.

Devices with non-T-Mobile software versions are out of warranty and do not receive updates.

Samsung T779 aka Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 passed Bluetooth Certification

A new device has just passed Bluetooth Certification, this is the Samsung T779.  The new Samsung T779 is related with the Samsung i497 aka Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. for that reason we can say a new tablet will hit T-Mobile really soon. It’s coming with Bluetooth 4.0, indication that we’re dealing with a higher end model, with the new standards on board. It could be that model in a new carrier version or maybe a newcomer, like that rumored Retina Display Samsung tablet or maybe the Galaxy Note 10.1 in a different version.

T-Mobile launches Truly Unlimited 4G Data plan, starting this September 5th

T-Mobile has just announced a new Unlimited 4G data plan staring this September 5th. The Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plan will cost $20 per month when added to a Value voice and text plan or $30 per month when added to a Classic voice and text plan.

For example, a single line Value plan with unlimited talk and text combined with unlimited nationwide 4G data will cost $69.99 or a single line Classic plan with unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited nationwide 4G data will cost $89.99.


Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G coming to T-Mobile

T-Mobile will launch a new Samsung Galaxy S phone, now named Galaxy S Relay 4G, aka T699, aka Apex. The new Galaxy S Relay 4G will feature a 4 inch 720p display (367ppi), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, physical QWERTY keyboard,and more.  No words when this new phone, that just has the same features of the Galaxy  S II will arrive on T-Mo Network.  Maybe this month perhaps ? Samsung Odyssey, aka T899, first Windows Phone 8 with LTE for T-Mobile USA

Here we are, this is not the first LTE phone , but also the first Windows Phone 8 for T-Mobile USA.  This the new Samsung Odyssey, first mentioned by the Verge. This will run a Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset, a dual-core 1.5GHz system-on-chip, a 4.65″ 720 x 1080p Super AMOLED HD display, a 8-megapixel rear camera. 720p front camera,  1GB RAM and HSPA+ and LTE capable.

T-Mobile USA will launch its LTE network no until 2013.

Samsung Galaxy Note and new myTouch phones already available on T-Mobile

T-Mobile launched a few brand new smartphones for the end of the summer. In case you haven’t been following along their version of the 5.3-inch Samsung Galaxy Notey . They also have a pair of rather decent mid-range budget friendly phones too the new line up of myTouch phones made by Huawei.

The Galaxy Note is pretty expensive, so if you need a more budget-friendly handset, T-Mobile has you covered with a pair of new myTouch devices, myTouch and the myTouch Q from Huawei. Prices? $249 on the original Galaxy Note, and only $49 each, after a $50 mail-in rebate for each myTouch.

Samsung Galaxy S III getting Android 4.1 in Q3

There rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy S III will receive the newest Android OS 4.1 this Q3 while the Samsung Galaxy S II in Q4.

Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be the first Samsung handset to get a taste of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. the Samsung Galaxy S III is one of the most powerful smartphones in the market today and it is powered by a QualComm MSM8960 SnapDragon chipset in its internals. It has a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor working in conjunction with a staggering 2GB of RAM to generate the computing power needed by the handset for a flawless performance. The handset is available in a 16GB and a 32GB model in terms of storage space and this can still be beefed up using the microSD card slot of the handset.

We just need to wait until the official release hit the air.
