T-Mobile confident of AT&T Deal..

By: t-marco September 19th, 2011

The acquisition of T-Mobile would make AT&T the largest carrier in the U.S. The company (AT&T)  says the merger is necessary to accommodate the heavy data demands of its subscribers, and will also create jobs and bring coverage to rural areas. However, while AT&T might claim to have more states supporting it, most of the highly populated US states such as California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania are against the deal. The large numbers of consumers in those states are likely to hold some sway with the DoJ.

T-Mobie also released a new statement assuring that the deal will pass and the new T-Mobile will be part of AT&T.

If regulators reject the deal, AT&T must pay $3 billion to T-Mobile owner Deutsche Telekom as part of its pre-nup agreement with the wireless network. The carrier must also give T-Mobile free spectrum in some regions and reduce charges for T-Mobile customers who make calls to AT&T subscribers

myTouch by LG and myTouch Q by LG accidentally leaked by T-Mobile

By: t-marco September 16th, 2011

Anew video tutorial just uploaded to T-Mobile’s channel on their brand new Mytouch Q by LG and another one called just myTouch by LG. The T-Mobile myTouch by LG and myTouch Q by LG mark a departure from current myTouch models, manufactured exclusively by HTC. AndroidGuys was able to snag a pic of the pair. They may look the same here, but as should be clear from the names, one will have a slide-out Qwertykeyboard.

Back in may there was a leak of devices coming to T-Mobile and the LG Maxx and Maxx Q ( now we know they are the myTouch ) will be landing on T-Mobile on November.

Samsung Galaxy S II for T-Mobile will feature a Qualcomm APQ8060 1.5 Ghz dual Processor

By: t-marco September 13th, 2011

Samsung today, via its Twitter account, confirmed that the new Galaxy S II for T-Mobile will feature a 1.5 Ghz Dual core Qualcomm Processor and not the Exynos found in the Sprint and AT&T versions that will run at 1.2 dual core.

Qualcomm’s processor is compatible with the MDM8220 modem, the Exynos processor is not. Now, that doesn’t necessarily mean that 42Mpbs HSPA+ is 100% certain, it’s not, but it’s definitely a good sign.

But what is the difference? How good is the Qualcomm APQ 8060 processor?
