After the launch failure of Bobsled VoiP Service via Facebook, T-Mobile is re-launching the service next week. T-Mobile USA spokesperson confirms the operator will relaunch Bobsled either Monday or Tuesday.
For those readers who don’t know what is Bosled, it enables users to send private or public voicemails to their friends’ Facebook walls. Neither Facebook user needs to be a T-Mobile subscriber–only the caller is required to have installed Bobsled. Moving forward, T-Mobile plans to introduce additional Bobsled features including video chat and smartphone/tablet accessibility.
And soon, Android and iOS applications

Thanks to This is my next … we can see T-Mobile’s plans about what phones will show up this year. T-Mobile is will launch a bunch of phones, even nobody knows about if AT&T acquisition will pass. Lets Start :
June:
T-Mobile will launch the HTC Sensation 4G on June 8th, together with the new Samsung Hawk or Exhibit 4G. Not only those 2 phones will come to T-Mo in June. Back in March, we told you about a new mid range Android phone coming to T-Mobile, this was the Samsung T589, now knows as Gravity Touch 2 or GT2. and now its smart, not like the other Gravities. The GT2 is a midrange device though, a 3.2″ touchscreen, a full physical side-sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 3 MP camera with LED flash, and an 800 MHz processor. The GT2 will run Android 2.2 Froyo when it launches.
T-Mo will launch, also in June 8th another Mobile Hotspot, a 42Mbps HSPA+ mobile hotspot with 802.11n capability and a built-in display. The Huawei E587 “Wayne”
Now, we move to June 15th. Another Samsung, and this time The Galaxy Mini aka Samsung T499 Tass, and on June 29th, Samsung t379 “Triumph” will come as a Gravity 4 (not Android this time).
Wow, what a June.!!

Thisismynext.com has some interesting information about a new Android phone coming to T-Mobile, T his is the Samsung “Hercules” (codename). As you know, rumors about Samsung Galaxy S II will hit , not only to AT&T, Sprint or Verizon, but also to T-Mobile. However, this new phone indicates is not the Galaxy S II but it packs really great features. (from thisismynext)
- 4.5-inch 480 x 800 Super AMOLED Plus display
- Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
- NFC support, though compatibility with the forthcoming ISIS mobile payment standard is “to be determined”
- Category 24 HSDPA (42Mbps) and Category 6 HSUPA (5.76Mbps) for extremely fast HSPA+ support — faster than any HSPA+ phone currently sold in the US
- AWS + 850 / 1900MHz compatibility for support on AT&T’s “4G” network if the merger succeeds
- Preliminary measurements place it at 5.16 x 2.76 x 0.37 inches — within a few hundredths of an inch of the Infuse
- 16GB internal ROM, 1GB internal RAM, external microSD up to 32GB
- Here’s where it outdoes the Infuse: it’s quoted with a Qualcomm 1.2GHz dual-core APQ8060 application processor, which is extraordinarily unusual for a Samsung — particularly considering the availability of Samsung’s own multi-core Exynos line; it’s paired with an MDM8220 modem processor
- 8 megapixel primary camera with flash and 1080p video capture, secondary front-facing camera
- Like the Galaxy S II, the Hercules won’t have a dedicated HDMI port — it’ll move high-def video over Micro USB using MHL

T-Mobile just announced the launch of a new trade-in program which it hopes will incentives buying new 4G phones on its network. Customers can get up to $300 for their old phone when they visit a T-Mobile retail store. For example, an iPhone 3Gs 32Gb you will get 170, EVo up to 155 and a Droid 2 up to 110. …..Really?
“If device purchases can be made even more affordable through the value offset of T-Mobile’s Trade-In program, we want customers to have that option,” Ami Silverman, T-Mobile’s senior vice president of sales, said in a statement.

As you know, Sprint is fighting against T-Mobile – AT&T acquisition. But this time , Sprint is not using its Fat (cigar addicted) lady to tell you that T-MO-AT&T will not work for you. Now Sprint is waling to pay all the fess ( up to 175 US$) you will be charged if you leave T-Mobile and switch to them. Even they will avoid the ETF if you leave Sprint and return to T-Mobile if the acquisition is not approved.
”Do you have the feeling the AT&T/T-Mobile won’t end with a ‘Happily Ever After?’,”… what you think?
This promotion will initially be aimed at business customers and evaluated for future use with non-business accounts.
