Get the LG Weather Widget on your Galaxy S phone

By: t-marco January 29th, 2011

One reason we love Android OS is the availability to have widgets on our home screen.. sorry iPhone owners. Our friends from XDA develpers get the System Dump of the new LG Optimus 2X. Now we can install many of its widgets into our phones. Personally I installed a few of them in my Captivate and they run very good. One is the Weather Widget. It tells you  the weather, temperature, time and date. You probably need a whole new home screen to install it and use it. However, if you use a Launcher like Launcher Pro, you can re-size the widgets and have some extra space for another shorcuts.

Just download the file and install into your phone. You dont have to be rooted, you only need to have access to install non Market applications.

Do it on your own risk.

Few days ago, T-Mobile confirmed its new Samsung Galaxy S phone, this time running under T-Mobile’s 4G network.  T-Mobile claims this will be :

Sidekick 4G, featuring front camera, this time made by Samsung

By: t-marco January 27th, 2011

Bye bye Sharp, not its time for a Korean company. Samsung has been a reliable cellphone company, specially after selling more then 10 M Galaxy S phones. However, some customers are not happy with the OS upgrade. To get the Froyo, many of us waited for so long. Other are still waiting (Samsung Captivate). Any way, now we are going to talk about the new Sidekick 4G for T-Mobile.  The new Sidekick will be capable to run under T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network, it will feature a front camera for video chat and this time will be made by Samsung.

We dont know about the resolution of the screen but we expect to be the same as the Galaxy S, GSP ( hope this time works ), Android, 2.2.1, WiFi,

Motorola Cliq 2 Review, Mobileburn

By: t-marco January 25th, 2011

The Motorola Cliq 2 is the latest android phone from Motorola and T-Mobile. The Motorola Cliz 2 packs all the necessary for potential smart phone.

The Motorola CLIQ 2 is a fantastic update to the original CLIQ, offering all of the expected features of old with a shiny new coat of varnish. The CLIQ 2 is faster, offers a far better display, and simply outclasses the original in nearly every way.

What it lacks, though, is HD video recording and HSPA+ data speeds. But considering its $100 price point, it’s still a good value for T-Mobile subscribers looking for an Android QWERTY smartphone. The problem is that the HTC-built T-Mobile G2 is also available for that price and offers a sexier design and a sleeker looking user interface.”
